The Walleye Point is located on the south bay of the Gouin Reservoir. This bay is also called «Lake Bureau», the original name of this body of water before the construction of the Gouin storage dam, wich now covers more than 100 km by 60 km (60 miles by 40 miles). These waters are renowned for their exceptional pickerel (walleye) and northern pike fishing.
The Walleye Point is surrounded by magnificent beaches, amongst the finest in northern Quebec.
The Walleye Point offers comfortable rustic cabins wich include : wood stove heating, electricity, refrigerator, kitchen accessories, etc. You should bring: sleeping bag and pillow, food, towels, warm clothing, rain suits, fishing gear, etc...

Sixteen feet Verchères boats, outboard motors (Yamaha, 10 h.p.), electricity, freezers, (wrap your fish and freeze it), sanitary units with hot water, gas, oil, worms and ice also available. Guide services on request. Phone communications. Fishing tackle is available at he lodge.
Accessibility
Floatplane or by road via Parent or Clova (Quebec). Floatplane travellers subject to Transport Canada regulations. Maximum weight per person, baggage included : 300 pounds (person and baggage), or in accordance with the air carrier restrictions.
